Wait, Where's The Fun? (Training - Ready)

Gouken was walking from the store. He had just recently recieved new glasses. His earlier encounter with the hollows destroyed them, making his aim off and it just didn't look good to have a broken pair of glasses. He walked along the street, thinking back over what has happened recently. He remembers his dream, the inner self. The way he was, even if he had no idea why. He stopped in his tracks, looking down at the ground. He looked at his shadow for a quick second, then straight forward. He then grunted, beginning to walk again. His school shoes clacked on the clean, paved, sidewalk. He walked along the side walk until a girl came to him. She looked at him, holding something out to him. This was one of his freinds from school, although he hadn't really caught her name, him being new to the school and all. He took the item and looked at it thoroughly, examining it calmly. He read over it and read the contents in his mind.

Gouken finished reading the note and smiled at the blue-haired girl, saying to her, "Yeah, I'll be there, what was your name again, I'm sorry, I'm still new to this school." The girl smiled at him and blushed a little, although it was unnoticeable in the sunlight that was dimming down to sunset. She said back to him, "It's okay, I'm Konami, but call me Ko, okay?" Gouken smiled and nodded his head, putting the note in his wallet, then placing his wallet in his back pocket. The girl walked away from him, waving her hands. Gouken watched as the sunset slowly turned into night, the party would begin soon.

Gouken saw the night come, he was heading to the party at the amusement park. He had his casual clothes on, just planning on meeting a few people and not worrying about too much. He had a couple bad feelings, but that always came from over contemplation of the situations. He walked to the amusement park, pulling his wallet out. He walked to the gates, planning on showing his ID and the invitation to the guards. He pulled his ID out, showing it to them and they nodded their heads saying, "You got an invitation?" Gouken nodded his head, digging through his wallet to get the invite. He looked through his wallet, trying to find it and noticed the hole in his wallet. He looked down at it annoyed and said to himself under his breath, "Shit..." Just as he was about to explain, Konami walked to the gates and said to Gouken, "Hey, Gaki-san. Glad you could make it!" Gouken wiped the sweat from his forehead and said, "Yeah, I am too." He finished under his breath "Glad you made it too...." Konami didn't hear what he said and the guards let him in without any challenge. He walked through the gates, looking at the massive rollercoaster that had people riding. The people screamed wildly and it made Gouken laugh. He knew in his soul that there was no way in hell he was riding that. He followed Konami to the place where the other party-goers chatted and relaxed with eachother. Gouken sat down, just keeping his eyes on things. He still had that unshakeable feeling deep inside of himself, like Inner Gouken was telling him something, or getting out, anyway, it may be good or bad. Gouken wasn't going to lose his cool at a party anyway. He stood up and went to the challenge area. He was going to try and win Kayeko a present, this being her party and all. He saw one challenge where several studens were rallied around one student who had a WWII looking rifle. He walked up to the group, watching the student aim, shoot, miss, then curse. The student seemed to have terrible aim, or it may be that Gouken had good range. Gouken paid money for 7 shots and took the gun, taking one step back and looking down the sights. He pulled the trigger and a pellet came out, flying to the target. It collided, making bells go off and sirens wailed. He was surprised at all of the praise he recieved for hitting a target. The students looked at him in awe and he smiled at them, keeping his cool and saying, "I guess it was just luck...." He unloaded the rest of his 6 shots, nailing both his targets, and the other students, just to show off. He was given a massive bear, about the size of him. He then walked around, still having the crowd of people behind him. He looked around for Kayeko.

He walked around a bit, finding Kayeko in line with her boyfreind, about to get on the massive ride Gouken saw walking in. He quickly hopped the line, giving her the bear. As he gave it to her, he said, "Happy Birthday Kayeko." Her boyfreind grabbed him by his collar, saying, "Back off." Gouken simply sent his hands to the boys and pulled them down, off of him. The boy swung at Gouken, attempting to hit his face. Gouken ducked under and the boy stepped back away from him, which was coincidentally on the ride. He noticed his present location and attempted to leave the ride, but was forced to sit as the stabilization bars pushed him down. He said to himself under his breath, "Just my luck..." He saw Kayeko in the front with her boyfreind next to her. Gouken looked upwards and felt as the ride began to start. He saw it slowly speed up, heading into a tunnel that shot straight up onto the massive hill. He would have to face it now? Already? As the ride sped up, he felt an enormous spiritual pressure and it made the gravity around him seem to become much more powerful. The people around him seemed to feel no effect though. They obviously wouldn't feel the pressure and wouldn't be able to see who caused it. Gouken pushed the stabilization bars up with all of his strength and he put one foot on the back of the chair, the other on the head rest of the chair in front. He looked out across the park as he felt the ride climbing the hill. He would have to find it before the ride headed down hill, so he could take his seat as if nothing happened. He looked out in the distance and saw movement through the crowds, it was large, but seemed a bit hard to see, like camoflauge. As he looked for it, he felt the pressure extremely close. His eyes widened as he turned his head, looking at the monster. It was on the ride with him, looking at him face to face. The skin on the Hollow was indeed camoflauged, probably to help escape hunters and Quincy. He saw Kayeko looking at him standing up and she made hand signs, as if saying "Sit down dumbass." Gouken shook his head no, and formed the quincy bow. She watched in awe as he did this, and the hollow noticed her watching. The hollow walked over to her and made an evil chuckle, raising his hands over her in the seat. The rollercoaster was near the peak of the hill now. Gouken needed a little time to charge, maybe he could start a little conversation with the hollow. He said to it, "So, what's it like being a hollow anyway?"

The hollow chuckled in that same evil laugh, making the world around Gouken seem to rumble. The hollow replied with, "Constant hell." This was not an answer Gouken had expected. He felt as an arrow had formed, just as the rollercoaster reached the peak of the hill. He said to himself, "Now!" He released the arrow and it glowed, spiraling through the air. This was his only chance to save Kayeko and her boyfriend, not to mention anyone else that may be included if the arrow missed. Kayeko saw the arrow, it seemed to look as if it were aimed at her and she ducked low. The arrow flew over head, seeming to dissipate in thin air. In actuality, the arrow and pierced the hollows shoulder. The hollow fell from the rollercoaster, falling to earth from the high hill. There was no chance that he would jump. He'd just have to shoot from here, it WAS a bow and arrow after all. He watched as it fell, making another arrow and firing down at it multiple times as it fell. The arrows pierced the chest, left leg, right foot, and the other shoulder. Blood poured from the hollow as it fell and it slammed into the ground with a loud roar. The roaring suddenly ended and the smoke cleared around the crash site. He looked down to see it was no longer there. Gouken guessed that it had dissipated, but he was very wrong. He was going down the hill now, and losing his balance. He slipped, falling from the rollercoaster and falling over the side. He held his hands onto it and climbed down carefully as to not fall. He came close to the ground and jumped the rest of the way, landing with one hand on the ground. He looked at the crash site, seeing the crater and the blood that was left behind. The monster was not dead, just not here. He thought about attempting to track it, but the spiritual pressure seemed to have vanished. He guessed that it was an ability the hollow had that suppressed it to nothingness. Seeing how weak the hollow really was, maybe it was a stealth hollow that depended on making people feel his spiritual pressure in different ways. He was thinking too hard now and dismissed the thoughts as boring. He walked from the crater and he was confronted by Konami who said to him, "What was that thing? Who are you? What are you?" Goukens eyes widened and he knew that she could see the Hollow. He raised one eyebrow saying, "Huh? What're you talking about?" Konami knew full well that he was lieing and said to him, "Don't play dumb with me Gouken..." A cold silence fell between them and Gouken scratched his head.

He knew his little lieing game was over now, someone had caught him. It was either he made some B-S lie so crazy it had to be true, or he could tell the truth, they both seemed the exact same anyway. He opened his mouth saying, "I'm what some people call a Quincy. What I just shot was what some people call a Hollow. That's all I'm saying." He then started walking off, trying to avoid the awkwardness of what he had just explained. He walked along the paths, noticing Konami behind him. She bit her lip a little and said to him, "I'm what you'd call a Plus, if you actually know what you're talking about." Gouken turned his head to her thinking, Thats why you never interacted with any people at the party, or even at school, they can't see you.... He looked at her and said, "Ha, we're two of a kind then aren't we." Konami smiled and walked next to him. Gouken knew exactly why the Hollow was here, it was after her. He was not letting that happen. He needed to find a Soul Reaper and fast. He needed a soul burial performed. He walked with her, jingling his chain under his wrist. The cross glimmered in the light. As he walked he said to her, "So, how'd you die?" It was an awkward question, but he was curious. Konami replied with, "I dont know." He looked at her, saying, "What do you mean, you dont know?" She calmly replied, saying, "I don't know." Gouken figured she really didn't know or she was avoiding the question. Either way, he let the question die out and sat down at a table with her. He needed to find something to do to pass the time, or something to get his mind off the current predicament.

He knew it was a terrible idea for him to be carrying around a plus with a hungry hollow on the loose. He thought for a while, but it was almost instantly interrupted by the same roar, followed by the inbearable spiritual pressure. He and Konami both fell to one knee from the table. Gouken stood up, helping Konami up and they both ran towards the source. When they reached the spot, the monster was devouring a dead soul. Gouken formed his bow again quickly and aimed it for the head. As the aimed, he formed the arrow and pulled it back, charging it a bit, then just as he was about to let it go, a soul reaper appeared next to the hollow and sliced an arm off. The blood splashed off, hitting the ground and making the hollow writhe in pain. The Shinigami said to Gouken, "Outta' my way Quincy!" As the words were said, he let his arrow release, it strayed off course a bit and nailed the hollow in the chest, making a hole in it to the other side. The shinigami sliced the other arm clean off. The hollow slammed its face on the ground, roaring and hollering in pain. Gouken let his bow fall apart and he watched the shinigami do his job. The shinigami sent his blade upwards along the face and it sliced clean through, eliminating the hollow with ease. The shinigami walked over to the plus and said to her, "It's time to say g'bye to this world..... You'll be going to the Soul Society, where you'll be cared for deeply and can live forever with no fear of hollows." Konami looked at Gouken and he nodded his head to her in acceptance. She said to him, "I guess this is good-bye, Gaki-san.... I'll see you when you get there I guess....." She waved and the soul reaper put the bottom of his hilt on her forehead, making her glow blue for a while. Gouken said to her, "Yeah, it's good-bye for now. I'll see you on the otherside some day." She smiled and then her body changed into the form of a butterfly, floating driftfully around Gouken, then upwards into the sky where Gouken lost sight of it. The shinigami was gone, nowhere to be seen.
