First of all, welcome to Bleach Role Play Center!

This topic contains a little important information for anyone and everyone who wants to try and RP here. It will likely catch your eye very soon, if not already, that the forum is based on stats. There are several very good reasons why Bleach cannot be properly RP'd without some kind of stat system, and I would like to point out a few things at this moment.

First and foremost, the stat system we have in place serves the purpose of support for open role play, setting down some base rules, and not vice versa. Unlike what most people would think upon learning this RP is stat based, the stats do not define the RP, but are secondary to it. They follow common sense, as much as that applies to Bleach in general, and prevent the common flaw of open role play: god-moding.

Second, although it would be bragging on my part, is that this system is balanced as good as it could be without being overly complicated.

Third and final note, all you have to do is know what each of a character's six stats affects, although most of them are already obvious from the names. Whenever actual numbers would come into play, you can ask a staff member to take care of it for you.

To sum things up, for those of you who dislike stats because they put too many restraints on role play: give this one a shot. You'll see that it will not take away any freedom, but allow you to enjoy it without having to worry about the things one usually has to.
