Description: Runology is the collective term for a set of spells that use runes. While this field is quite diverse, these spells range under 4 "elements"- Fire, Water, Wind, Earth. There are some non-elemental spells, but these are rare and generally cost more spiritual energy to use. Healing spells are generally of the Water type, and Lightning is under Wind, or some more powerful lightning spells are a mixture of the Fire and Water runes. Each element has its own rune, and sometimes certain spells require a special rune that is not used for any other spell. Some spells require more than one rune as well, for example, 2 fire and 2 wind runes to activate. The amount of runes that you can have is limited by body area. The amount of runes you can have is determined by skill level, which is done by training to gain the next level. There are several ways you can train, either by pushing the limits of the amount of runes (Although there is a 50% chance of death), study the runes in a 5-post thread, or use them in battle, 10 real battles, 20 sparring matches, 20 solo traning sessions, or a combination of the two. Just remember that it takes 2 sparring matches or solo training sessions (make sure it's a decent length) to equal a real battle.

Level 2: 10 total
Level 3: 12 total
Level 4: 14 total
Effects: Runology can range from offensive to defensive to supportive- Attack to defending to healing and buffing. However, there are basic spells that require no additional runes besides the original rune types.

Additional notes: If you create a Runology spell, it has to clear by me first. This is to ensure the power matches up to how many runes you used. If you have many spells or feats (More than 5) that relate to your original class, you lose your Runology power altogether. While you will still know the knowledge and have the runes etched on your skin, you cannot use the spells.
