Sealed State

Name: Maple
Design: Appearing as a large cannibis-like leaf, the five large leaves of this Kusabana wrap around the fingers and fist of Jibo, forming a single leaf gauntlet as hard as steel. With this, Jibo's punches do a great deal of damage.  When "Sheathed" the leaf shrinks down to 1/10th its battle size, easily fitting into a pocket or onto a bracelet/necklace. By trickling the tiniest bit of his spiritual energy into the leaf, it grows to its battle-size and becomes "Drawn."

Weapon transformation

Name: Ember
Design:  In this form, Maple ignites and burns up. The fire from which the leaf burned then transfers onto Jibo's arm where it flares blue as it fuels its power off his reiatsu. Jibo can choose to attack with mere punches from this fiery arm, or manifest any sort of melee weapons from the spectral fire. Regardless of shape, the weapon deals the same damage.
Jibo's eye whites turn red, with his irises remaining yelow. In thi stage his hair grows back longer, reaching down a little past his shoulders, while spiking even more.  His last change is the growing of a racoon tail.

  • Spirit Techniques: 5

Type: Energy
Description: A powerful thrusting motion that sends forth a cyclinical stream of superheated energy. This red energy blast causes severe burning and agony to those who hit by it.
Effects: 2.5 x Spirit power damage
Force: 1x Spirit power
Cost: 225 Spirit energy

2.Name: Inferno
Soul Class: Tanuki
Other Requirements:

  • Spirit Techniques: 8

Type: Energy
Description: By forming a halberd of fire and thrusting it into the ground, Jibo summons forth a circle of fire roughly 50 yards in radius. Jibo himself is immune to the fire's touch while Red Maple is active.
Effects: 2 x spirit damage initially. 1 x spirit damage for each post the enemy steps in the area. Lasts 3 posts-rounds.
Force: 1.5x Spirit power
Cost: 900 Spirit energy


Full Transformation

Name:   Azazel
Design:  In this stage Jibo transforms into a full Tanuki shape, made completely out of a violet and red spirit fire.  Every step he takes leaves behind a supernatural purple flame. In this stage he attacks with his claws and teeth. When in his full transformation, he does not have access to powers enabled to the weapon transformation form.

    Name: Azazel
    Soul Class: Tanuki
    Other requirements: Full Transformation
    Description: This passive ability governs the natural defense of Jibo's transformed state. A spiritual fire burns around his body, causing damage to anyone who attacks him in melee range.
    Effect: .2 x Spirit power in damage to any who reach melee range.
    Force: .5 x Spirit Power


Powers:

1. Name: Hellfire
Soul Class: Tanuki
Other Requirements: Full Transformation

  • Spirit Techniques: 10

Type: Energy
Description:  Jibo opens his mouth, firing a large blast of superheated blue energy at the enemy. Explodes on impact.
Effects: 4x Spirit power damage
Force: 2 x Spirit power
Cost: 800 Spirit energy

2.Name: Apocalypse
Soul Class: Tanuki
Other Requirements:  Full Transformation

  • Spirit Techniques: 20

Type: Energy
Description: Jibo summons forth a great amount of spirit energy, exploding forth spiritual fire from within his core. As the fire sweeps the area in  a large exploding current, it scorches all enemies in a large area.
Effects: 4 x spirit energy to all characters in 150 yard radius.
Force: 2x spirit energy
Cost: 3000 Spirit energy

You screwed up on the coding, and honestly, it was much better before balance wise. But seeing this, I fail to see the difference between your "tanuki" and shinigami, besides some minor detail

Anyways
1. Damage Potential: 2.2 x Strength - way too much for those skill requirements
2. Activation Effect: Spirit Power x 2 - it would be okay if the focus of your release wasn't spirit attacks, but not like this
3. Higher cost for Scorch. 225 at least
4. Much higher cost for Inferno. I'd say 200 if it was a target-oriented power, but it is an area one, which would increase its cost significantly by default. Considering it covers such a wide area and lasts 2 more posts...
5. Azazel needs a force at least
6. So I take it Apocalypse always hits and affects everyone in the thread? Considering it has the same power as your other ability that costs 800 SE, but can't be dodged and its area of effect is infinite (could as well be, since it works on everyone in the thread, meaning there's no escaping it no matter how far away you are), how many thousands do you think I would tell you to make it cost?

You were right about the shinigami-likeness I hadn't realized that so I re-editted the transformation to differ more. Now, the weapon is entirely elemental just as I originally wrote it should be in the app. Also, I believe I fixed all the details and costs. Perhaps at least?

Sorry for the double post, Using my better understanding of the system I editted it again. I think its better, higher requirements and costs. I'm considering adding in a cost to maintain the stages of transformation as well. Its actually something I would reccomend to all weapons. Surely it cost spirit energy to keep a zanpakto in a released stage right? I mean even if it was like 30 SE per post. What do you think Sench?

1. Coding still fuxed
2. 2000 is still too low a cost for Apocalypse. That wide an area is still pretty much everyone in the thread, since it would take more than one post to cover such a distance, except for enormously overpowering enemies, who probably could brush that blast off anyway
3. I just realized how to deny everyone stat boosts without looking like a jerk. No stat boosts without constant drain on either Spirit Energy or Stamina

30 SE is laughable for 50% increase to two stats. Same for 100 for 100%
